Saturday, April 3 was a drive out to Alamo Lake State Park about 43 miles from Wenden, which is a couple of miles from our campground. Arizona is some rugged country, but the weather is pleasant, in the 70s and slight breezes! Here are some pictures of Alamo Lake and a couple of wild burros.
We have decided to just “hunker down” here, so yesterday we paid the $160 for a month. We are very comfortable, safely away from others, but close enough to go to the local market for supplies. We have face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer so we should be able to avoid contact with anyone infected. Currently, we have to pack up Coach every few days to go to the dump station to drain our holding tanks, but we are in the process of finding a portable waste water tank, which we should be able to pick up tomorrow, so we won’t have to go through that hassle anymore. We never planned to spend this much time in Arizona, but it is very beautiful here and we feel very safe and so far, the weather is great! Hopefully, this will all be over by the time we leave here. As of right now that date is known as Cinco de Mayo!
We pray for the safety of all of family and friends. Can’t wait to see all of you this summer!
