Just an update, the solar charging system is working good now. We got the tires rotated and the brakes checked on Toad. All is well.
Headed out for Anaconda Copperhead football Friday morning by checking the weather…. “Winter Storm Watch” for northwest Montana. Being optimistic, Joanette doesn’t see the Bitterroot as northwest, and Keith is determined to go Skalkaho Pass Road. We head out, hit 93 and notice the snow capped peaks of the Bitterroot Range. But the Sapphire Mountains didn’t have any snow on them, and that was the range we were going to go over. Wow, what a beautiful day for a drive over the Sapphires! Fall foilage, no snow, pretty good road. We had Kona and Goober with us and they enjoyed several stops to get out and walk!

We made it into Pburg (Philipsburg Montana) in time to hit the Sweet Palace for some licorice and coffee flavored hard candies, a sample of wonderful fudge and a photo op. Then on to Philipsburg Brewing Company for a quick beer while we waited for daughter Jaime to get off work, she is the business office manager for Granite County Medical Center there in Pburg.

On to Friday Night Lights. Anaconda Football is not killing it this year, but it was fun to watch Grandson Tyler Flint, #63, stop the Columbus Cougar line until his bad shoulder got worsened and we was out all of the fourth quarter. Updates on that injury in future blogs.

We drove back to the Bitterroot to spend a really restful night in our own bed, sleeping in this morning until 9:00. Can you believe it? We sure couldn’t!
