We took a road trip to the Heceta Head Light House, maybe 20 miles north of us. What a beautiful drive that HWY 101 is! We found our destination and hiked up to the lighthouse. Great pictures!
We had passed Sea Lion Caves on our way up to Heceta Head Lighthouse, so on the way back we stopped at a pullout just before the Sea Lion Caves. We enjoyed the view of the lighthouse and watching the surf below us when what should appear but sea lions! It was so fun to watch them, one was actually surfing!
We had another great day, which undoubtedly ended with another great meal! We’re having a great time and loving the Florence area!
